Return to San Miguel de Allende

After Mexico City, we flew to Leon and then drove to San Miguel de Allende, a colonial town and haven for artists. We spent a week exploring the galleries with Evan's family and then Evan and I stayed for another week to attend a language school.

Mexico City

In Mexico City, we met up with Evan's family and visited both the National Anthropology Museum and the site of Teotihuacan.

Diving in Roatan

Here are some of the best pictures from our diving in Roatan. The water was amazingly clear and there were lots of beautiful coral formations. We saw lots of reef fish, sea cucumbers, gorgonians, christmas tree stars, eels, turtles, and even a sea spider!

Roatan is Paradise

Evan and I spent the last week of December in Roatan, a Honduran Bay Island. It was beautiful and relaxing. We spent the first day exploring the island via scooter. We went scuba diving on several days and racked up 10 more dives, including 2 deep dives below 130 ft! We snorkeled with dolphins, played with capuchin monkeys and macaws, rode ziplines, and ogled at a pile (yes, a HUGE pile) of iguanas). We ate wonderful seafood, smoked cigars, and had beers at many beachfront bars. Oh yeah, and we got engaged!
