Last days in DC and a canoe trip in the Poconos

We spent our last days in DC with Evan's family. Evan's parents came out for Darcy's white coat ceremony at Georgetown Medical School. While Evan had to work a lot, Nikki got to do some last-minute site-seeing.

Spent a weekend on Chincoteague and Assateague Islands watching the wild pony round-up and playing at the beach.

Weekend in Harpers Ferry, WV

So, we spent a weekend in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Went whitewater kayaking on the Shenandoah/Potomac Rivers one morning.










































Went on a ghost tour in the evening.














and saw the fort where John Brown was kept.
















Listened to a hippie guitarist during dinner.














Visited a WV flea market on Sunday.
