Last days in DC and a canoe trip in the Poconos
We spent our last days in DC with Evan's family. Evan's parents came out for Darcy's white coat ceremony at Georgetown Medical School. While Evan had to work a lot, Nikki got to do some last-minute site-seeing.

Weekend on Chincoteague Island
Spent a weekend on Chincoteague and Assateague Islands watching the wild pony round-up and playing at the beach.
Weekend in Harpers Ferry, WV
So, we spent a weekend in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Went whitewater kayaking on the Shenandoah/Potomac Rivers one morning.
Went on a ghost tour in the evening.
and saw the fort where John Brown was kept.
Listened to a hippie guitarist during dinner.
Visited a WV flea market on Sunday.

4th of July in the Capitol!

Hi, we're in Delaware.
So, we went to Delaware, yes Delaware, for the weekend. Although the beach was nice, there were too many rules!! No throwing things, no skimboarding, no flying kites, and no digging holes! Fascists!

Lots of Hawai'i references in Delaware (including TWO Hawaiian restaurants!). This shop was called "East of Maui."
Eating soft shelled crabs.....
Crabby Dick's! We made friends with some construction workers from Boston here!
Go-karts and mini golf...
Stopping by Annapolis on the way home.....

Drove up to Baltimore to watch the Red Sox play. Yay, Jacoby!!
