Yucatan Trip

Nikki and I spent X-mas and New Years traveling around the Yucatan Peninsula with Chuck and Jacqui (Nikki's parents). We had an amazing two weeks and visited 12 different archaeological sites. We also got to snorkel in cenotes and dive at a site in Cozumel that Jacques Cousteau made famous. Enjoy a few of our pictures below:

Temple of the Inscriptions - Palenque

A pretty cool carved stelae at Yaxchitlan. I was just starting to be able to read dates off of these by the end of the trip.

Chuck exploring some ruins at Yaxchitlan.

Nikki, never missing an opportunity for excitement, on a zipline at Punta Laguna.

Climbing the main pyramid at Coba.

Aren't we cute?

Nikki getting eaten by the earth monster.

Nice view at Calakmul.

Snorkeling in a cenote (limestone cave).

Evan diving in Cozumel.
